Petroleum Economics and Management program visit to Schneider Electric

July 19, 2017

On 11th July 2017, the Petroleum Economics and Management program students visited the headquarters of Schneider Electric, in Rueil-Malmaison. Within the framework of the “CO2 management and sustainable energies” module, the students discovered the “smart building” known as HIVE (Hall de l’Innovation et Vitrine de l’Energie, i.e. Innovation Hall and Energy showcase) displaying the company’s energy efficiency actions, as a key player in energy management.

After having been presented Schneider Electric’s activities in the Oil&Gas sector, the PEM students were able to visit the International Customer Lounge where the company exposes its products and solutions for energy management and automation.

For the PEM program, this visit is in line with an ever-growing opening towards the topical issues of energy transition and climate change mitigation.
