IFP School students come 2nd in the “24 heures Innovation Centre de la Terre” challenge!

December 22, 2017

On 17 and 18 November, six IFP School students took part in the “24 heures de l’innovation au centre de la terre” (24 hours of innovation at the center of the earth) challenge at the Avenia competitiveness cluster.

Along with the other participants, they had 24 hours to rack their brains about topics related to the underground energy sectors and come up with creative and innovative solutions to solve questions put by companies from the sector.

The challenge brings together industry and students in a highly operational innovation context!

The IFP School students participated in five different projects, two of which finished 2nd and 3rd in the competition:

  • In second place: Improving information flows during onshore seismic acquisition – Subject proposed by RealtimeSeismic
  • In third place: Fast connector system for offshore cables and drilling risers - Subject proposed by Vallourec

Congratulations to them!
