Céline Pierre joined IFP School in 2008 and lectures in the Center for Refining, Petrochemicals, Gas, especially for the Processes and Polymers program. She coordinates the course on Polymer manufacturing. She is also involved in the organization of the Professional Skills Module, the aim of which is to enable students from different programs to work together to acquire a range of non-technical skills.

Céline Pierre graduated from ENSIC Nancy in 2000. In 2003, she defended a PhD thesis  on Rheology of heavy crudes in partnership with IFP Energies nouvelles research teams, following which she joined Cray Valley as a process engineer in radical emulsion polymerization, polycondensation. For four years she was in charge of the following assignments:

  • Pilot tests,
  • Interface between R&D teams and industrial plants during the industrialization of new products,
  • Troubleshooting at the plants,
  • Best practices discussion between industrial sites.
