Ludivine Pidol

Having graduated from ENSCP (Chimie ParisTech) in 2001, Ludivine Pidol submitted her doctoral thesis on the Chemical Physics of Materials in partnership with Saint-Gobain in 2004. She received the ParisTech Thesis Award for her work.

She then joined the Total Research Center at Solaize, where she worked as a Research Engineer in the field of vehicle lubricants. In 2006, she joined the department of Fuels, Lubricants and Emissions at IFP Energies nouvelles. Her research focuses on matching Engines and Fuels in the field of Biodiesel and Biokerosene. Co-author of twenty scientific articles, she represents IFPEN within several standardization groups.

Ludivine joined IFP School in 2012 as a professor in the Centre of IC Engine and Hydrocarbon Utilizations. She coordinates several teaching units within both the Énergie et motorisations, Énergie et produits and the Powertrain Engineering programs. She also gives lessons in Motor Fuels and Lubricants for the Powertrain Engineering program and for IFP Training.
