Other programs

Executive programs

IFP School also offers programs for experienced professionals, who have a degree awarded after at least four years of higher education.

These programs can be followed whilst maintaining a professional activity and are generally in the form of two-week modules spread over a period of 16 to 18 months. They are often organized with international partners and therefore take place in different countries throughout the world.

Trainees learn through a theoretical and practical training and exchange of ideas with renowned experts and also benefit from the fruits of group work (real case studies, etc.) with participants from a host of different backgrounds.

Two programs are offered in the field of management:

IFP School also offers a one-year program in the field of engines for professionals who have been granted study leave by their companies. Students on this program are awarded a Degree of Advanced Studies which is a label of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE).

For information on the conditions for admission to the Executive Master of Management in Energy and the Executive Master in International Oil and Gas Leadership programs, please contact Arash Farnoosh, program supervisor of the Petroleum Economics and Management at the Center for Economics and Management.

Off-site programs

Since 2002, IFP School has also pursued a policy of developing off-site programs, which consists in setting up degree courses off-campus in partnership with a local university and an industrial sponsor.

These programs are for students with at least four years of higher education, most of whom are from the country in which the program takes place. Students are awarded a degree signed jointly by IFP School and the local university.

At present, three programs are being run, in Nigeria (with University of Port Harcourt and Total Nigeria), in Russia (with Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and Salavatnefteorgsintez SNOS, a subsidiary of Gazprom) and in Saudi Arabia (with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and Saudi Aramco).

Continuing education

Finally, lFP Training, a subsidiary of IFP Energies nouvelles, runs courses for continuing education. Each year, it offers 1000 courses for professionals working in industry.
