Le nombre total d'étudiants IFP School s'élève à près de 1200, en intégrant les étudiants des opérations d'essaimage à l'étranger, ceux qui effectuent une scolarité de plus d'un an, ainsi que les doctorants.

Il faut noter la création cette rentrée de deux nouveaux programmes, avec un master en Electrification et propulsion automobile, en partenariat avec l'ENS Cachan, Supélec et Centrale Paris, et un executive master in Energy and global policies en partenariat avec Sciences Po.

 

Malgré la crise économique et financière, le modèle pédagogique et économique de l'École s'avère robuste. Pour preuve, le pourcentage d'étudiants parrainés par des industriels, apprentis ou professionnels s'élève à 90% dans la nouvelle promotion et le taux de placement à trois mois des diplômés est remonté à 99%.

 

Sur un registre plus institutionnel, IFP Energies nouvelles vient de faire l'objet d'une évaluation par l'AERES (agence d'évaluation de la recherche et de l'enseignement supérieur) et dans le rapport rédigé par l'agence, le chapitre concernant l'École est intitulé "IFP School, une réussite nationale et internationale en formation initiale".

Last September, IFP School welcomed to Rueil-Malmaison the 2011 class which is made up of 493 students, apprenticeship trainees and young professionals from 45 countries.

 

The total number of students in IFP School is now 1200, including students on off-site programs abroad, students whose programs last more than one year and PhD students.

 

Two new programs have been created this year: a master in Electrification and Automotive Propulsion, in partnership with ENS Cachan, Supélec and Centrale Paris, and an executive master in Energy and Global policies in partnership with Sciences Po.

 

Despite the economic and financial crisis, the School’s academic and economic model has proved to be sound. This is shown by the fact that the number of students sponsored by industry (scholarship holders or on apprenticeship training or on secondment) accounts for 90% of the 2011 intake and the rate of new graduates hired within 3 months of graduation is back up to 99%.

 

On a more institutional level, IFP Energies nouvelles has recently been assessed by AERES (an agency for the evaluation of research and higher education) and in the agency’s report, the chapter on the School is entitled “IFP School, a national and international success in initial education".
