Editorial

Dear alumni,

Year 2023 is already coming to an end, and every December is a good opportunity for us to welcome back our students from the previous class, who have just returned from their five-month work placement.

On December 4 to celebrate their return, they were welcomed with a breakfast before they joined their programs and got down to work in project mode and in multicultural teams. The IFP School’s teams also prepared a number of other surprises for the month of December.

For this last issue of 2023, the editorial team wanted to share with you a preview of the reopening to the general public of the "Hydrogen for mobility" MOOC and the launch of a brand-new MOOC dedicated to hydrogen production, the fruit of collaboration between the School faculty, the Lab e·nov™, researchers at IFP Energies nouvelles and colleagues from IFP Training.

As you know, your School is constantly developing and enhancing its training offering. With this in mind, we have signed an academic partnership with the University of Strasbourg  and co-created a new research-oriented Master's degree, "Geosciences for the energy system transition", which welcomed its first intake last September.

Finally, to close with more good news, IFP School has been ranked 5th best engineering school this year by the HappyAtSchool label, reflecting the quality of training and campus life as demonstrated by our students. Find out more in this issue.

On behalf of the School and its faculty and administrative staff, I wish you a very happy holiday season.

I hope you enjoy reading this last issue!

Yours sincerely,

Pascal LONGUEMARE PhD
