Hugo Bony, IFP School graduate, appointed Director general of Agrauxine

Ten years after having studied at IFP School in the Economics & Management program, Hugo Bony was appointed Director general of Agrauxine, the business unit of Lesaffre, dedicated to plant care.

The start-up “develops and manufactures products from microorganisms for crop protection – biocontrol – and stimulation of plants – biostimulation”.

Petroleum Economics and Management program visit to Schneider Electric

On 11th July 2017, the Petroleum Economics and Management program students visited the headquarters of Schneider Electric, in Rueil-Malmaison. Within the framework of the “CO2 management and sustainable energies” module, the students discovered the “smart building” known as HIVE (Hall de l’Innovation et Vitrine de l’Energie, i.e. Innovation Hall and Energy showcase) displaying the company’s energy efficiency actions, as a key player in energy management.

Chinese academic delegation visit to IFP School

A delegation from Tongji University, Shanghai, visited IFP School end of June. Prof. ZHONG Zaimin, Deputy-Dean & Professor at the University’s School of Automotive Study and Dr. ZHANG Xinfeng, Assist. Professor Dr. & Assist. Dean, were welcomed at IFP School premises by Philippe Pinchon, IFP School Dean, Jean-Christophe Flèche, Director for Development, Pierre Duret, Director for Sustainable Mobility and Ouafae El Ganaoui-Mourlan, Supervisor for the Master in Powertrain Engineering.

IFP School SPE Student Chapter Iceland Field Trip

In May, 25 students from different programs and all part of the IFP School SPE Student Chapter went on an Energy field trip in Iceland, sponsored by IFP School, Geofluid, OMC, SPE International (France Section) and Total.
