Charlotte Herdt Tergoresse, a graduate of IFP School (ATP, 2008) and the École Polytechnique, took over as head of Arkema's Villers-Saint Paul plant and Verneuil-en-Halatte Research Center (Oise) in April 2025.
She joined Arkema in 2008 through a work-study program, just after obtaining her specialized engineering degree from IFP School, and started as a High-Pressure Process Engineer, leading a project to transform a polymer production unit.
Her career within the group has been marked by rapid advancement, taking her from high-pressure processes to fluorinated gas, and later to business functions.
“The position of industrial manager brought me back to the factories. Now, I am returning to my initial dream of running a large site,” she said in an interview with L'Usine Nouvelle last December.
IFP School extends its sincere congratulations to Charlotte Herdt Tergoresse on this appointment and wishes her every success in her new role.
