On September 12, IFP Energies nouvelles and IFP School had the honor of welcoming member of the European Parliament Thomas Pellerin-Carlin (Place Publique).
On this occasion, Mr. Pellerin-Carlin gave a conference on energy security within the European Union.
It was a stimulating meeting that allowed the School's students to ask many questions about the local and European challenges of the energy transition.
Before being elected, Mr. Pellerin-Carlin was a researcher specializing in ecological and energy transition, first at the Jacques Delors Institute, then at the Institute for Climate Economics (I4CE).
He now sits on the European Parliament's ITRE Committee, dedicated to industry, research, and energy, as well as on the Environment Committee.
He is a regular lecturer in the IFP School's Energy and Markets program.
