Heba Al-Madhagi, a Yemeni student in IFP School’s Energy Technology Economics and Management program attended the BCG Aspire Workshop, held in Barcelona, Spain from May 21 to 23, 2025.

Organized by the Boston Consulting Group, this professional development event brought together 85 young university and PhD talents from Europe, Middle East, South America and Africa. It allowed participants to explore the world of strategy consulting, engage in leadership development sessions and tackle real-world business challenges.

Heba had the opportunity to analyze a sustainability case assessing a PR firm's Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and develop a strategy for achieving net-zero goals by 2030, presenting the recommendations to the client and BCG Partners.

Heba also took part in voice coaching and public speaking training, and attended sessions led by BCG Partners from the Nigeria, Dubai, and New York offices. Lastly, she got to experience padel, taking part in a fun match.

“This event is an invaluable platform for professional growth. It allowed me to take part in meaningful discussions and build connections with fellow students and BCG consultants from around the globe" Heba stated.
