Six students from the 2023 Class won the first place in the European SPE Petrobowl Regional Qualifiers, which were held from March 20 to 22 at the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
Oluseyi Akinboade (Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering, RGE), Zakariyah Bako (RGE), Karla De Marins Cabral (Petroleum Geosciences), Santiago Lencinas Pupkiewicz (Energy Technology Economics and Management, ETEM), Trevor Karlis Riter (ETEM) and Chloé Tournu (RGE) are now heading to the Petrobowl Championship, which will take place from October 16 to 18, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.
To qualify, our students had to take part in a series of quick-fire rounds, answering technical and general questions about the oil and gas industry.
