Yannick Mekwegne, a graduate of IFP School's Energy and Processes program (class of 2015), has just been elected President of the African Business Club (ABC), a network of professionals and students working for the development of the African continent. The association is based in the Île-de-France region.

Mr. Mekwegne began his career in 2015 at TotalEnergies, where he held various positions in operational management. In 2022, he joined Saipem to focus on project engineering and management.

Committed from an early age, he has been a scout, president of student associations and member of several Think Tanks. Energy transition, infrastructure development, entrepreneurship and the socio-economic emergence of the African continent are all themes close to his heart.

His ambition is to make ABC a key organization for professional mobility, entrepreneurship and business development in Africa.

The School wishes him every success in his new role!
