After the summer break, the Rueil-Malmaison campus came alive with the arrival of new students.
On Monday, September 1st, IFP School welcomed the new students from the Specialized Engineering and Advanced-Master programs of the class of 2026 to its Rueil-Malmaison campus. Among the new developments is the launch of three new programs: Offshore Wind Project Development, Electricity Management and Digital, and Energy and Carbon Management in Business.
The inaugural day began with a warm welcome from Mélanie Bernard, Head of Student Relations, and a welcome speech by Pascal Longuemare, Dean of IFP School.
Students then attended several presentations, including on the educational innovation services offered by Lab e·nov™, the School's digital culture laboratory, the logistical and IT resources available to them, and the activities organized by the Student Office (BDE), etc.
The opening ceremony was followed by a breakfast. The students then began their academic year by program, meeting their program managers and training center directors.
The day ended with an information session on apprenticeships and work-study programs, led by Gilles Azencott, Director of Studies and Apprenticeships, and Maria Thirouard, Supervisor of the Powertrain Engineering program.
The integration of students continued the following day with an immersive tour allowing them to discover essential services and the Rueil-Malmaison campus. A village of 11 stands awaited them, where they could talk to representatives from the Student Office (BDE), ASIP Sport (IFPEN sports association) and the IFP School Alumni Association. At the end of the tour, the students attended a welcome cocktail party hosted by the Rueil-Malmaison town hall.
Finally, on September 4, the students took part in a treasure hunt in the heart of the town of Rueil-Malmaison. The orientation week ended at the Domaine de Vert-Mont with an afternoon of sports and games based on the School's values: Openness, Responsibility, and Solidarity.
The School wishes them every success. May this academic year be rich in learning and discovery!
