Founded in 1975, the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS- School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences) brings together researchers and students from all over the world, with the aim of encouraging cooperation amongst the disciplines of the social sciences in order to understand societies in all their complexity.
