Chulalongkorn University - Bangkok

Chulalongkorn University is the oldest university in Thailand (1917) and has long been considered one of the most prestigious in the country. It now has 19 faculties and some schools and institutes. Considered the best and most selective university in Thailand, it logically attracts the best students to the country. 

Its campus occupies a large area in the centre of Bangkok, just next to the popular Siam Square. The symbol of the university is the Phra Kiao, a royal badge. Diplomas were traditionally distributed by the King of Thailand, it was King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) who instituted this tradition.
