Dear Fellow Alumni,

I hope you all enjoyed your holidays.

It is such a pleasure to be able to tell you that the academic year has got off to a good start and is packed with good news!

Indeed, we have welcomed a fine intake, with an enrolment equivalent to pre-crisis numbers, still 50% international students of 50 different nationalities, 31% young women and a record number of apprentices.

From the beginning of the school year, we have encouraged physical presence for all the programs, always in keeping with the protective and preventive health measures, with the option for students who were unable to join us in time to follow the courses online.

The induction days took place, with a new activity for the students of the Georesources and Energy Center, a serious escape game created by the teams of the Center and Lab e·nov, which I invite you to discover.

There is more good news! We were finally able to celebrate the graduating classes of 2019 and 2020 at a graduation ceremony that was especially adapted for the occasion.

And last but not least, our Lab e·nov team has moved into the new premises, with a multimedia studio and virtual reality laboratory at the School’s disposal, and which are of course available to the IFPEN group and partner companies.

All this has been possible thanks to the commitment of the School’s teams, but equally thanks to the unfailing support of your companies, for which you are always our best ambassadors.

Many thanks and hope you enjoy reading this issue!
