Portrait de Christine Travers

Dear alumni,

Spring has sprung, restrictions have been lifted and smiles have returned to the classrooms and corridors of the School. This would be good news if it were not for the tragic news.  Our thoughts are of course with our Ukrainian and Russian graduates and students.

IFP School continues to develop and to position itself as a key player in the ecological transition, but also in the digital transition.

In terms of ecological transition, the School is committed to the field of hydrogen, and you will learn about it in this issue, Laetitia Salessy, Hydrogen Coordinator for the School who will tell you more about her role, as well as the new training module "Hydrogen for mobility" designed by the teams of the Powertrains and Sustainable Mobility center and the LAB e-NOV™.

It's not too late to sign up and discover hydrogen technologies applied to heavy mobility!

In terms of digital transition, students from several centers were able to take advantage of a new course on Machine Learning at the beginning of the year, in order to acquaint them with the handling and interpretation of data; these skills being in demand by our industrial partners.

Finally, the good news is that the placement rate for the class of 2021 is good in all sectors, reflecting the economic recovery but also the good match between the skills acquired by the students and the needs of our industrial partners.

I hope you enjoy reading this issue.
