Editorial

Dear alumni,

I am delighted to share with you the news from the first quarter of 2024 at your School.

The recruitment campaign for the next intake is in full swing. In addition to the various events, we are running (student forums, amphitheatre presentations in our source schools, etc.). At the beginning of February, we organized a day of virtual meetings between our partner companies and applicants wishing to join the School next September; a much appreciated event that underlines our strong ties with industry. To reach out even more to international students, particularly from Europe, we recorded a program in the Paris studios of Campus France, which was broadcast on social networks on 12 March. I know that many of you are following our news on social networks, and I would like to thank you for your support in promoting the School's programs.

The beginning of the year also got off to a "hydrogen start" with the launch of two MOOCs open to the general public, firstly on the subject of hydrogen applied to heavy mobility, and then on hydrogen production; the latter is open until 30 April (all the information can be found on our website). As a concrete illustration of IFP School's investment in the energy and ecological transition, we have enriched our training offer with an Advanced-Master degree (Mastère spécialisé®) program entirely dedicated to hydrogen; find out more in the "Special Report" devoted to it.

Internationally, we launched a new off-site Master's program in Malaysia in partnership with Petronas, and welcomed the first intake of young professionals on 19 February. Teams from the Georesources and Energy Center are heavily involved in this program (see the School News selection at the end of this issue).

We are delighted to welcome a new colleague: Claude Núñez (a graduate of the Energy and Powertrains program, class of 1998), who joins the School to head up the Powertrains and Sustainable Mobility Center: the "Live" feature devoted to him in this issue is also an opportunity to welcome him and share with you his ambitions for training in the mobility sector.

Finally, a focus on what Lab e·nov™ (the digital culture laboratory hosted on our campus) has to offer, and more specifically its creativity workshops, might be of interest to you in imagining concrete solutions to a given business problem. Don't hesitate to contact them!

Enjoy the newsletter!

Yours sincerely,
