Dear alumni,

As we approach the much deserved summer vacation, I hope you are all well, ready to resume some form of “normal” life and rediscover the joy of human contact and exchange.

A few weeks ago, the School opened its doors once again, much to the delight of students keen to return to campus and meet up with fellow classmates.

In this issue, you will read about the first series of IFP School Voices webinars. In my opinion, they were an outstanding success, helping to further strengthen our Alumni network. A second series is already planned for after the summer vacation.

Turning alumni into genuine ambassadors for IFP School and working together to reinforce the School’s appeal to young people is one of our missions.

The “Energy Transition: innovation towards a low carbon future” MOOC plays a vital role in terms of raising the School's profile. Jean-Pierre Deflandre, project manager, will be looking back at the latest edition, which was a great success.

All these initiatives aimed at increasing the School’s attractiveness seem to be bearing fruit because the new, recently recruited intake for 2022 is set to see numbers grow significantly. Interesting student profiles and industrial sponsorships are the order of the day but I will tell you more at the start of the new academic year.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy reading this issue and have a wonderful vacation.
